Pre-Law Advisory Board Hosts Fifth Annual Fund-raiser

Birmingham-area attorneys and others in the legal profession competed in the fifth annual UAB Magic City Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the UAB Pre-Law Advisory Board and Freedom Court Reporting on April 3 at the Regions/Harbert Center Plaza. This year’s winning team was Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton LLP.

The UAB Magic City Chili Cook-Off, formerly the UAB Trial by Fire Chili Cook-Off, was created to help support UAB’s Pre-Law program. Monies raised at the event will support scholarships for students in the pre-law program and benefit UAB’s award-winning undergraduate mock trial team.
