Corporate and Foundation Giving

The director of Corporate and Foundation Relations works to establish mutually beneficial relationships between the university and its friends in the business and philanthropic communities. The major goal of this effort is to match the funding interests of corporations and foundations with the priorities of the university as it fulfills its educational and service missions. Corporations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations can assist businesses in giving to UAB through:

  • General support for particular university programs or for unrestricted use at the discretion of the administration
  • Support for faculty and chairs
  • Support for students in the form of scholarships
  • Support for buildings and campus infrastructure
  • In-kind giving of products and services
  • Matching gifts for your company’s employee giving


Foundations

A broad range of programs at UAB are supported by the generous gifts of private foundations. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations can work with your foundation to match the mission, goals, and interests of the foundation with UAB’s support needs, so your gift makes the greatest impact.
