Why Give to UAB?

• UAB’s postdocs were ranked first among public universities nationwide in the most recent edition of The Scientist’s “Best Places to Work for Postdocs.”  UAB offers specialized assistance to its postdoctoral scholars through the Office of Postdoctoral Education, which was among the first universities to offer such a program. These scholars are training in dentistry, engineering, health professions, medicine, natural sciences and mathematics, public health, optometry and social and behavioral sciences and elsewhere.

• UAB's Green and Gold Fund, run by UAB students in the School of Business, won the 2012 Alternative Investment Style National Championship at the R.I.S.E. XII Forum.
