New UAB Directory distribution under way Each building administrator should have an established delivery process for internal distribution; UAB faculty and staff also can obtain a copy of the directory from the pallets on the loading dock for their building or by contacting UAB Shipping & Receiving for the closest distribution location. Hospital units can order directories through the medical surgical supply order system at zero cost. Shipping & Receiving will fill the order and deliver to any 70 accounts. Telephone orders will not be accepted. When ordering directories through LAWSON, use CSSD as the From Location and request item 16749 BOOK TELEPHONE CAMPUS. Once you receive a directory, please review both your personal listing in Section D and your departmental listings in Section E. The information printed in the 2008 directory reflects the information listed in the UAB Electronic Phonebook on Nov. 30, 2007. • If the personal information listed in Section D is inaccurate, submit corrections through the appropriate human resource group. All changes to UAB campus contact information must be submitted via an ACT form. • If departmental information located in Section E is not accurate, submit changes through your authorized Official Directory Contact. To find your contact, access the Electronic Phonebook at www.uab.edu/phonebook and query the department name; the directory contact link will be at the bottom of the departmental page. In approximately 30 days, Shipping & Receiving will collect remaining directories and store them in the warehouse. For directories after that time, contact UAB Shipping & Receiving at 975-4454.
