Thank you for attending the Second Annual Biomedical Engineering Research Symposium at UAB!
March 28-29, 2013
We look forward to seeing you next year!
The 2013 BME Research Symposium was a terrific success with 35 poster presentations, 12 oral presentations from students, 18 sponsors, and over 65 attendees. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Robert Crutchfield, the president of the South Eastern Medical Devices Association. The purpose of this event is to institute a forum to promote interaction between biomedical researchers at UAB, industry and government institutions. This will facilitate networking between potential employers and employees, foster industry-academia collaborations and raise awareness about the cutting-edge biomedical research being carried out at UAB.
This event is organized by the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Organization (BMEGS) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The 2013 BME Symposium would like to thank our sponsors.
