Thanks to everyone who attended the inaugural Biomedical Engineering Research Symposium
March 8-9 2012.
We look forward to seeing everyone again
in March 2013
Inaugural Biomedical Engineering Research Symposium took place March 8-9, 2012 at UAB's Hill University Center. This event was organized by the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Organization (BMEGS) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The Symposium was a great success with 9 oral presentations from graduate students, over 20 poster presentations, and a keynote address from Dr. Krishna Venugopalan. The purpose of this event is to institute a forum to promote interaction between biomedical researchers at UAB, industry and government institutions. This will facilitate networking between potential employers and employees, foster industry-academia collaborations and raise awareness about the cutting-edge biomedical research being carried out at UAB.
Special thanks to our sponsors who made the 2012 Symposium possible.
