SOE Helping Organize NATO Advanced Study Institute this Summer

asi symposium4UAB initiated the creation of the NATO Advanced Study Institute, which it will host this summer along with Coventry University and  KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The international event will brings together some of the world's top experts in vehicle innovations and design.

UAB is partnering with Coventry University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology to host the NATO Advanced Study Institute (ASI)—an international event focused on advanced autonomous vehicle design for severe environments. The event will be held in Coventry, U.K., this July.

"UAB initiated this event as a way to bring together well-established researchers to share their knowledge with a new generation of young researchers," says Vladimir Vantsevich, Ph.D., professor of mechanical engineering at UAB and co-director of the institute. "This is a great opportunity for researchers to collaborate with one another, particularly for the students or recent graduates who will be moving the research forward in the near future."
