NSF Graduate Fellowship awarded to Jose Roman

Jose received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from UAB in 2011 and immediately went on to Johns Hopkins University for his graduate studies in the fall of the same year. In March he received one of 2000 National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships. The fellowship provides three years of support that includes stipend and opportunities for international research and other professional development opportunities.
