Associate Professor
Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering

Education

Ph.D., University of Alabama

Research Interests

Assessment of the potential impacts climatic change / climatic variability may have on the hydrologic cycle (i.e. water availabilty). Development of "natural" sustainable remediation technologies for use in urban and/or industrial settings. Integration of emerging technologies (ex. G.I.S.) into the standard civil / environmetnal engineering curriculum.

Research

  • Hydraulic Resistance in Grass Swales Designed for Small Flow Conveyance
  • Modeling the Combined Effects of Forest and Agriculture on Water Availability
  • Regionalization of Extreme Precipitation Estimates for the Alabama Rainfall Analysis
