CE 690-Transportation Data Collection and Analysis RESEARCH Dr. Sisiopiku’s research interests include traffic operations and safety, simulation and modeling, non-motorized transportation, intelligent transportation systems, emergency management and national security. As of 2010, she has served as the principal investigator in over sixty five projects and authored/co-authored one hundred ten technical papers. Dr. Sisiopiku has been recognized by many organizations for her professional achievements including the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Illinois Association of Highway Engineers, and the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS).
