Sue J. Kim (Ph.D., Cornell University, 2003) specializes in contemporary literature and literary theory; her additional interests include narrative theory, world literature, ethnic studies, feminist studies, creative writing (fiction), and Marxist theory. She has published in The Asian Journal of Women's Studies and Modern Fiction Studies, and has an article forthcoming in the Journal of Asian American Studies. She is currently working on a study of experimental writers from the 1970s, including Thomas Pynchon, Bessie Head, and Theresa Hak Kyung Cha. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in American literature, world literature, literary theory, and composition.
