Dr. Cecil McCollum was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Samford University in 1984. After attending medical school and residency training at UAB, he finished a Cornea Fellowship at Duke University Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. McCollum is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
