Jason Swanner, MD is a native of Alabama. He completed his undergraduate studies at Samford University and obtained his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed a medical internship at Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. His Glaucoma fellowship training was performed at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard School of Medicine.
