Michael Vaphiades, D.O. completed a medical internship at Brown University followed by a Neurology residency at Loyola University Chicago. His Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship training was performed at Michigan State University. He is the Chief of the Neuro-ophthalmology and Electrophysiology Services at UAB. He assists in resident education. He evaluates and treats patients with visual dysfunction referable to the central nervous system.
