Facilities Administration supports every team member in the Facilities Division. We work to provide the tools and resources necessary to help make the Facilities Division more effective and efficient by promoting the Facilities Core Values each day.

Facilities Financial Management supports the Facilities Division in all areas of Finance. They operate as the CFO of the Facilities Division and provide the following support to achieve strategic goals and objectives:

  • Financial analysis
  • Budgeting
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable
  • Reconciliation 

Facilities Human Resources acts as the primary liaison to the University’s centralized Human Resources Department in order to provide direction and management to leadership of the Facilities Division. In addition, The Facilities Human Resources Department offers guidance and service to all staff in the areas of:

  • Records
  • Benefits
  • Employee Relations
  • Compensation
  • General Payroll

Facilities Human Resources staff members have an open-door policy, and encourage open, honest communication with all employees of the Facilities Division.

Facilities Information Technology supports the information technology needs of the division, by deploying, maintaining, and supporting all the desktops, laptops, and servers within the Facilities Division. The department also constantly researches and evaluates the latest information systems technologies in order to further the goals of the division and train our users.

Communication is an integral part of the Facilities Division and UAB campus. It is important to provide a professional, consistent message to our internal and external customers. Facilities Communications helps to craft the communication for programs, projects, initiatives, etc. Facilities Communications also ensures all communication is on brand and adheres to UAB standards.
