Conflict of Interest Review Board (CIRB)

Charged with the ongoing development of policies and procedures related to conflicts of interest in sponsored research, review of disclosures of financial interests submitted by investigators, and the development of conflict of interest management plans.


This year's theme is "Lessons Learned and Future Directions: Technology in Teaching, Research, and Service."

The 10th Annual University of Alabama System Scholars Institute will be held on the Tuscaloosa campus, May 15-16. This year's theme is "Lessons Learned and Future Directions: Technology in Teaching, Research, and Service."

The Scholars Institute fosters a shared community of knowledge among members of the three UA System campuses bringing together discussion and discovery of technology best practices in teaching, research, and service. Each campus may have up to 10 graduate student attendees/presenters. The call for proposals is now open, and registration begins on Monday, March 6.

Participation by a variety of disciplines, multi-campus representation, and a strong cross-section of faculty and staff members make the Scholars Institute more effective for everyone.
