The University of Alabama at Birmingham has organized a series of events related to The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Speakers present a range of personal, professional, and/or political perspectives on issues relevant to the book. The goal is not to push a particular agenda but to provide information to help everyone make more informed decisions about relevant issues.
Any member of the UAB community is welcome to attend all events after August 14.
