Welcome to the Foreign Language Avisory Committee
The mission of the Foreign Language Advisory Committee (FLAC) will be to:
- Interpret and promote the programs and activities of the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
- Advise the department chair and the dean on matters relating to the advancement of foreign languages.
- Assist the department chairperson on matters related to "friendraising" and "fundraising."
- Provide support and guidance on special events.
- Provide advice and assistance as possible with student recruitment.
- Provide advice and assistance with outreach to the community.
