Benefits
Graduate students participating in the Exchange Program will see little, if any, difference in their administrative life. For example:
- Graduate students will continue to receive their stipend
- Students will register for nondissertation research hours for the semester they spend in Germany
- UAB mentor will still pay tuition and fees for the nondissertation research credit hours
- Student healthcare will continue
Supplemental funding may be available.
The "Franconian Switzerland", a region in Northern Bavaria, is one of the oldest and most popular holiday areas on Germany. The creative artists of the Romantic movement once discovered this region and gave it this name.
