Preprint-Reprint Permission Letter

This letter assures that the undersigned co-authors hereby grant 
permission to (student's name)

to use the article or preprint named below in his or her thesis 
or dissertation to meet the graduate degree requirements at the 
University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). 

Permission is required only from coauthors who are graduate students 
at UAB.

By granting this permission, the coauthors acknowledge their 
understanding (a) that the contribution of the student named above 
is sufficient to warrant inclusion of the article in that student's 
thesis or dissertation and (b) that the article listed below may not 
be used, AS A WHOLE, to form a portion of any other thesis or 
dissertation at UAB. 

The remaining portion of this letter may be altered to allow for 
varying title lengths and for varying numbers of coauthors, but the 
format should follow that shown below. This letter is available in 
electronic format at the Graduate School's web site 
(www.uab.edu/graduate).
