Dr. Herman A. Taylor was born in Birmingham, Alabama and earned his undergraduate diploma from Princeton University as a member of the Class of 1976.  He attended Harvard Medical School and served as a Senior Assistant Surgeon in the commissioned corps of U.S. Public Health Care Service following his graduation.  Dr. Taylor holds specialty certifications in Internal Medicine (9/86) and Cardiovascular Disease (11/89) and is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife and two children.
