HY 497 History Capstone

This course requires history majors to demonstrate their competency by completing a research project in conjunction with the 400 level course of their choice. For procedures see the history website. 

Prerequisite: None

Credit Hours: 3

Note: To take the Capstone you must register for both HY 497 AND for another 400 level History course (total of six credit hours). Your capstone project will be a research project directed by the instructor in your other 400 level course. Before you register for the capstone, you need to meet with the professor teaching the 400 level course to make sure he or she is willing to work with you on your capstone project. The professor’s agreement is a requirement of the capstone project.

  Course work for HY 497 will NOT count toward work in your other 400 level course.
