Honors-Designated Courses

Personal Development Plan Core:

GCL Honors seeks to build upon current course offerings, providing GCL Honors students with ways of fulfilling 9 hours towards GCL through the core curriculum. Personal Development Plan (PDP) Core requires students to select from the Arts and Humanities (Area II) and Social & Behavioral Sciences and History (Area IV) course offerings nine hours of classes that relate to their interests and goals. Students provide written justification for the selection of the courses prior to taking them explaining how it will aid in their personal development. Later, students describe how the material learned related to their interests and goals and to community issues.
