Preceptor's Conference and Van Zile Scott Lecture The Annual Preceptor's Conference is the beginning of the administrative residency search process for the students enrolled in the MSHA Program at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. It provides an opportunity for preceptors, students, alumni and faculty to network. The Van Zile Scott Lecture was endowed by a gift to the University of Alabama at Birmingham from Dr. and Mrs. Edward Van Zile Scott. The lecture enables the Department to bring outstanding speakers to campus who represent health services research and health administration practice.
