UAB Temporary Services is a UAB Recruitment Services department offering qualified temporary staff to organizations within the UAB campus, including UAB Hospital, UAB Health Services Foundation, Viva Health, and Southern Research Institute. We provide placement for temporary employee candidates in a timely manner while providing a cost-effective and efficient way to meet department staffing needs. 

Temporary opportunities or engagements are often limited to a specific time-limited duration. Our temporary staff can help managers address situations such as work volume increases, unscheduled absences, special events/conferences, project augmentation, and employee leaves or absences and assist candidates who are seeking temporary employment opportunities. UAB Temp Staffing also can facilitate temporary to permanent roles, which provide temporary employees with an opportunity to gain work experience, while managers determine if longer term employment may be the next step.
