The Faculty and Staff Climate Survey was distributed to university employees in September, 2010. The results of the survey motivated a number of changes and improvements in schools and departments all over campus. Most of the changes have centered around better communication within the schools and departments and opportunities for employee career development and training.

It is apparent that the climate survey continues to influence positive changes at UAB and progress is being made toward the goal of making UAB a great place to work.

After submitting your application with Temporary Services, we will contact you if we need additional information or would like to schedule an interview for a possible job assignment.

All applicants who are offered and accept a position with UAB Temporary Services that will be assigned to engagements within UAB Medicine will be tested for nicotine during a regular pre-employment drug screen. Applicants who have cotinine levels above the threshold will have their employment offer rescinded. Those who test positive are welcomed to re-apply after 60 days. This policy does not apply to Temporary Services employees on assignment with UAB University Campus.
