Thanksgiving Holiday Service Schedule

UAB Parking & Transportation will be running on a holiday service schedule Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 28. To minimize the impact, gates will be raised at the 6th Avenue parking deck on both days to allow parking for employees who normally use the remote lots. The revised bus and shuttle schedule is as follows:
  • Thursday, November 27 – No Blazer Express bus service or Blazer Express Highlands van service.
  • Friday, November 28 – No Blazer Express bus service, but the Blazer Express Highlands van service will operate on its normal schedule.
Safety escorts will still be available both days, as usual, by calling 4-8772. Click here for more information.
The full Blazer Express schedule and system map can be found at http://www.uab.edu/blazerexpress.

Location Update

Beginning Monday, November 24, 2014, the Blazer Express that runs between UAB Hospital-Highlands and Spain Wallace will change pick-up and drop-off locations at Highlands. The new pick-up and drop-off location will be at the front door of Highlands. The pick-up and drop-off at Spain Wallace will remain the same. This move is to better serve our patients and reduce traffic at the Highlands Emergency Room Ramp.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact UAB Parking & Transportation.
