Dr. Feldman has served on the School of Engineering faculty, in Biomedical Engineering, since 1986 and previously was a member of the College of Engineering faculty, Bioengineering division, at Texas A&M. He has published more than 250 technical articles and reports. Dale Feldman's research interests include: biomaterials enhanced regeneration, tissue engineering, wound healing enhancement and characterization, tissue state and wound healing assessment, and degradable polymers for drug delivery systems and tissue scaffolds.

"Home-health delivered albumin scaffold for spinal cord injured patients" funded through the UAB Injury and Control Research (Centers for Disease Control). The design of an albumin tissue adhesive scaffold to treat and assess pressure ulcers at the patients home. "Design of an electric bandage" funded through Biofisica. The design of a disposable bandage for skin wounds to accelerate the healing process.
