Ways to Give

When you make a financial gift (cash/stock/bonds) to the UAB Injury Control Research Center, you as the donor have a choices in determining how the funds can be used.

Unrestricted gifts are among the most valuable to the UAB ICRC, because they allow the Center to allocate funds wherever the need is greatest, and to take advantage of unique opportunities as they arise. Your unrestricted contribution may be used to support costs associated with research, equipment, facilities, and much more.

Directed gifts allow you to designate your gift to a specific program, a support group, or a priority area for the Center. When you make a directed gift to UAB Injury Control Research Center, you know you are supporting a program that is important to you.

You also have the option of designating your gift for for an endowment. Endowment gifts provide long term financial tools for the Center by expanding the Center’s permanent financial base and creating a predictable source of future income for such things as internships and fellowships, academic activities, broad- based interdisciplinary research projects, or even entire research programs.

Matching-Gift Programs:

An easy way to increase the size of your donation to the UAB ICRC is to find out if your company has a matching-gift program. Programs like these match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations. Simply obtain a matching-gift form from your employer and provide it to the UAB ICRC with your donation

 

Other:
