Interculture "Helping Bring the World Together Piece by Piece"
Interculture
is UAB's first multi-cultural programming committees that provide resources and guidelines
while educating and encouraging cross-cultural interaction amoung students of all races,
nationalities, and ethnic orgins. Interculture also provides programming in several areas that support
and facilitate this culturalinteraction. Interculture chooses several countries
(through studentsurveys) throughout each quarter in which students are exposed to the
customs and traditions associated with various countries. Programs in the past have
included celebrations of Bahamas, Brazil, Japan, Ghana, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy and many
others.
