I2 UAB High Performance Network Applications
Needs Assessment Form

This needs assessment survey is a vehicle for gathering information about present and future high performance network needs at UAB.  Use this form to report your need for high performance computing to the Internet2 Project Team.  Information gathered will be used in the campus network planning process. 

By submitting a description of your educational or research application and its high performance networking requirements, you are participating in an information gathering process, only.  Your submission will notify campus network planning of your needs, and will assist in the preparation of cost estimates.

Please make a separate submission for each application you report. Please select the appropriate response for each numbered item and and provide concise responses to the discussion items. The form will be emailed automatically to David Shealy and to Jill Gemmill of the UAB Internet2 Team.
