PGP Whole Disk Encryption Logging Into a System Protected by PGP Whole Disk Encryption
Once you encrypt a drive on your computer, any restart of the system will prompt a PGP Whole Disk Encryption Login screen to appear. When prompted, enter the password to login. If you have changed your password since the last time you logged into the system, you will need to use your old password. Upon starting up, you will see the standard Windows login screen. Enter your new password; the encryption software will automatically change your boot password to remain in sync with your Windows login screen. If you have forgotten your old password and recently performed a password reset, contact AskIT at 6-5555 for assistance in logging into the system.
