The Alumni, Development, and Gift Records System (ADGRS) is UAB's official alumni, and development and gift records system. ADGRS is used to maintain records of, and facilitate contact with, all UAB graduates, donors, gift prospects, or others with an interest in UAB, and also to record all gifts received by the University.

ADGRS contains information for individuals including name; address; employment information; UAB degrees; UAB interests/relationships; and giving history. For corporations or foundations, ADGRS includes the following information: name; address; contact person; UAB interests/relationships; and giving history.

The system was developed in-house in 1990 using Natural programming language and IMS databases. The application was upgraded to take advantage of the new accounting structure implemented with the Oracle Financials Application in October 2004.

ADGRS was designed primarily for internal update and inquiry by the alumni, development, and gift records staff. However, it is also used by WBHM and is available to other areas of UAB involved with fund raising or with alumni relations responsibilities.
