As if the bulk of the Western World didn’t already know, Amy Winehouse has declared that she’s “a mess.”
MSN Entertainment reports that the British songstress realized how dire her situation was at a charity concert in London where she sang backup for her 12-year-old goddaughter, who Winehouse is attempting to mentor. Winehouse’s goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield, stirred up some nostalgia of a more sober, innocent Amy.
Winehouse told the London Daily Mirror that Dionne reminds her of herself when she was “this little girl who liked Celine Dion and singing, this beautiful sweet girl with innocent dreams.”
Winehouse — whose outrageous behavior includes singing racist, drug-induced songs, punching fans and appearing slightly askew at public performances — was apparently “totally wasted” at the charity concert, according to the London Daily Mail.
If you think Amy Winehouse’s story is as bad as it gets, you’re wrong. There is a woman in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose case might be a bit stranger than Winehouse’s.
According to Cincinnati news station WCPO 9, a woman from the Middleton area of Cincinnati was arrested on September 28 for disorderly conduct … in a cow suit. Michelle Allen, a Middleton resident, was, for an undetermined reason, compelled to put on a cow costume and cause havoc around the Middleton area.
Her shenanigans included disrupting traffic, chasing children and urinating on a neighbor’s front lawn.
So, maybe Amy isn’t such a mess — at least she’s not wearing a cow suit and marking her territory on a neighbor’s lawn.
