How can I place a hold on a book?
To place a hold on a book, you can call the HUB at (205) 934-2230 or (205) 975-4821 or place a hold online through your Horizon/HIP catalog account.
To place a hold online, you will need to select the 'Request Item' button in the library catalog. You will then be asked to enter your username and password. You will then see a Request Confirmation page where you may submit or cancel the hold request.
