FAQs

I have a citation to an article. How can I find the online full text?

Use the E-Article Citation Matcher. View the tutorial on how to use the E-Article Citation Matcher for assistance.

E-Article Citation Matcher should be used to locate articles for which you already have the citation (journal title, article title, author, date, etc). E-Article Citation Matcher will search the library's e-journals for online full-text access to the article. If the article is not available online, you can see if it is available in print or request the item through interlibrary loan (ILLiad).

Information needed to use the E-Article Citation Matcher form:

A journal title, ISSN, DOI or PMID is required. Enter as much additional information about the article citation as possible: author, title, year of publication, journal volume, etc.

Example using E-Article Citation Matcher:

To locate an article on chips by Morfey in the journal Medical Device Technology, enter the following terms into the form and click on 'Look Up:'

Article Title: chips
Journal: Medical Device Technology
Author (surname): Morfey

E-Article Citation Matcher results will look like this:

If you need more help using the E-Article Citation Matcher, please Ask a Librarian.
