How do I check out a laptop from the library?
Laptops are available for checkout to UAB faculty, staff, and students on a first-come, first-served basis with a loan period not to exceed 24 hours.
Prior to checking out a laptop for the first time, a valid UAB ID and a completed patron registration form must be on file. You can print out and submit this signed form to be sure you are in the library database.
Laptops can be picked up at the HUB desk on the first floor. Basic instructions will be given at the time of pick-up. For more information contact the HUB at (205) 934-3469.
