How do I locate articles?

The library subscribes to a variety of databases. You will need to search in different databases depending on your topic. The following are good starting points:

  • For medical research articles: use PubMed or Scopus
  • For nursing or allied health articles: use CINAHL
  • For consumer health articles: use MedlinePlus

If you know the article you're looking for, you may want to use the PubMed Single Citation Matcher.

Please look at the LHL Guide on Getting Started: Finding Scholarly Articles.

An alphabetical list of the library's databases and resources is located on the Databases page.

If you need any help selecting a database to search or finding an article, please Ask a Librarian.
