How can I set up my mobile device to access library resources?

Many library resources are available for use on mobile devices such as SmartPhones, iPods, and iPhones. Click here for a list of library databases with mobile access.

Depending on the app, you may need to enter your Blazer ID and password as well as the library's proxy setting. The prefix for the proxy server is:

http://ezproxy3.lhl.uab.edu/login?url=

You may need to tweak this prefix for some apps.

Follow these directions for setting up Papers on iPods or iPads. To set up PubMed on Tap, your library settings/proxy should be:

http://ezproxy3.lhl.uab.edu/login?url=%@

For more information about resources that can be used on mobile devices or help troublehooting an app, please Ask a Librarian.
