How can I download PDFs to my iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch?

To download PDFs to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, you'll need to download an application. A good free option is iBooks. Once you've downloaded this app and you are viewing a PDF online that you would like to save, simply tap the screen. A grey bar will appear at the top of the screen. Select 'open with' in the upper right corner then choose iBooks. The PDF will then appear on your iBooks bookshelf. You can highlight and take notes using this app. For even greater functionality, you may want to consider purchasing Good Reader or Papers for iPad/iPhone.
