How can I get to full text articles when UAB Article Linker and E-Journals search aren't functioning correctly?

There are several ways you can still get to full text articles when the UAB Article Linker button and E-Journals list aren't functioning correctly.

If the UAB Article Linker button isn't working correctly you may see a screen like this:

Notice that it says "dates not available." This means that when you click the "Get Article" link you will get a screen like this:

You can get to the full text by clicking on the "Go to Journal" link, navigating to the correct volume and issue, and then locating the specific article you need.

If you search for a journal through the E-Journals list and it isn't working properly you may see a screen like this:

Notice you won't see a date range in front of the second entry. You will still be able to get to the journal and can navigate to articles from there.

If you are on campus, you can use the publisher links in PubMed to try to get the full text. Copy and paste the article title into PubMed. Once you have found the article you need, click on the publisher button on the right side of the page:

If you are off campus, you can use the "view at publisher" link in Scopus to try to get the full text.
Once you have found the article you need, click on the link for "view at publisher."
