How do I check out and download an e-book from EBSCOhost?

To download an e-book from EBSCOhost, follow the instructions below:

• Click the Download This eBook (Offline) link on the left side of the page for the e-book you want to download.

• Sign in to your My EBSCOhost folder.

If you don't have a folder, you will need to create one before you can download the e-book.

• Select a checkout period from the drop-down menu and click the Checkout & Download button.

• Select Open with or Save File from the dialog box. You should see a message that the e-book was downloaded successfully.

You must have Adobe Digital Editions installed to view e-books from EBSCOhost. You can also use Bluefire Reader to read library e-books on your iPad. See how in a post on our Tech Lister blog.
