I used to log in with my Blazer ID and password when I accessed PubMed from the library website. Now I'm not asked for my Blazer ID and password. Am I doing something wrong?

Due to some recent changes with MyNCBI and EZProxy, we have made some changes so that you no longer have to log in with your Blazer ID and password when you initially access PubMed through the library's website. You will still get to UAB-licensed content. You will be asked to enter your Blazer ID and password the first time you click on the UAB Article Linker button and attempt to get to UAB-licensed online full text. Be sure to use the UAB Article Linker button as most publisher links/buttons will not work.

If you prefer to log in with your Blazer ID and password when you initially access PubMed, please use the following link: http://ezproxy3.lhl.uab.edu/login?url=http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?myncbishare=uablib&holding=uablib_fft&otool=uablib

Please be aware that some things, including accessing your MyNCBI account, may not work if you use this link. We are continuing to work on this problem.

If you need any help searching PubMed or have any questions, please Ask a Librarian.
