March/April 2001THINKPAD LAPTOP AVAILABLEMedia Services is pleased to announce the availability of a ThinkPad Laptop for checkout. A couple of years ago, the library made available to the UAB public an Epson video projector. This equipment can be scheduled for use with the video projector so there's no need to worry about securing a laptop; now you'll be able to secure both at the same place. To be eligible for checkout, you must be a current UAB graduate student, faculty or staff member. The equipment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis with a loan period not to exceed 24 hours. Reservations should be made at least two days in advance and a valid UAB ID must be presented at the time of pickup. For more information or to make a reservation, please contact the Media Center by calling 934-3050 or you may visit the Center, which is located on the first floor of the library in Room 142 between the hours of 8:30-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. |
