September/October 1998Sandra Nicholson RetiresAfter twenty-five years of service to UAB, on September 1, Sandra Nicholson will be retiring and leaving Lister Hill Library. Nicholson came to UAB in 1974 working for Dr. Margaret Klapper from 1974-1979 and then Dr. George Smith from 1979-1991. From 1991 to 1998 she was the Financial Officer for Lister Hill Library. She plans to maintain a high level of commitment to the community through several volunteer projects that include nursing homes and children's reading programs. We at Lister Hill Library will miss her and wish her well. |
