Library Lounge

Lister Hill Library has added a long-awaited feature.  The newest addition to the building is the library lounge.  It is located on the basement floor.  The lounge consists of comfortable couches, chairs, and even has snack and drink machines.  Patrons of the library are welcome to use this room.
The addition of the library lounge should please many people.  The patrons are happy because for a long time many have complained that there is no place for them to rest and/or get something to eat after a long, hard day of studying.  Many were upset because they had to leave the library and go to another building just to get a little snack.  And, for many years, there was a ban on food and drinks in the library.  Now, when a patron gets hungry, he or she can grab a quick snack at the lounge.
The lounge should also help solve the noise disturbance problem.  When a group of patrons want to get together and have a study group and all group study rooms are occupied, they can go to the lounge and not worry about bothering anyone.
Many libraries don't have this feature.  But, perhaps, in the future more libraries will add a lounge for their patrons.  It is sure to be a highly appreciated addition.
