Grand Opening of the New Student Lounge: Oct. 27
Please join us for the Grand Opening of the new Student Lounge on Tuesday, October 27th at noon. See how we’ve transformed the ground floor copy room into a new gathering place for students. We’ve added comfortable seating, tables and chairs, and a microwave to make this space more useful and inviting for students. With only limited funding, we were able to make use of materials from the UAB warehouse or other donated or reclaimed furnishings to create a space where students can study together, heat up food, or share a meal. Stop by the grand opening on the 27th and see how we’ve “designed on a dime.”
