The Lister Chill Room: LHL's New Student Lounge
Our new student lounge, named the Lister Chill Room, recently opened on October 27. Stop by and see how we’ve transformed the ground floor copy room into a new gathering place for students. We’ve added comfortable seating, tables and chairs, some great wall decor, including items from our museum collection, and a microwave to make this space useful and inviting for students. With only limited funding, we were able to make use of materials from the UAB warehouse or other donated or reclaimed furnishings to create a space where students can study together, heat up food, or share a meal.
