Privacy Statement
Lister Hill Library respects the privacy of all library patrons.
- Questions may be submitted anonymously. Names are not required on chat or e-mail forms.
- Only library staff members have access to questions submitted to the Ask a Lister Hill Librarian service.
- Questions may be retained for ninety (90) days. After this time, all identifying information, such as names and e-mail addresses, will be deleted.
- Questions may be added to a database of frequently asked questions which will be accessible to library staff for training and evaluation purposes. Question transcripts will be monitored for quality by the Assistant Director for Reference Services.
- Questions may also be used for research and/or publication purposes.
