There are three bookdrop locations around the library:
- Two bookdrops are located on each side of the street level entrance, back near the entrances to Volker Hall and the School of Optometry.
- An additional bookdrop is located by the curb behind the library on 7th Ave. near the loading dock.
A trifold brochure lists what is available on the library's public access computers, including DVD options and software packages such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

The following AV equipment is available to all UAB faculty, staff, and students for a seven day loan period: video projectors and a portable projection screen.
